Another Hour to Enjoy KORBEL

It has been a long, chilly winter for many of us, but here’s a sign that spring is on its way: Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. on March 8th. That means it's time to spring forward and move clocks up an hour, unless you live in Hawaii or a part of Arizona that doesn't recognize DST.

Did you know that Benjamin Franklin is credited with the concept of daylight saving time? The idea is to make the best use of sunlight during the spring and summer months. Since 2007, daylight saving time in the United States has run from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday in November.

Most people appreciate the extra hour of sunlight in the evening. At the KORBEL Winery, we look forward to an extra hour of enjoying our sparkling California champagne. Here’s a fun, fruity cocktail to toast to the longer days ahead.

Mango Breeze

1 oz. Finlandia® Mango Flavored Vodka
2 oz. cranberry juice
4 oz. KORBEL® Sweet Cuvée
Mango slice

Pour vodka and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice or a martini glass (straight up). Top with KORBEL. Garnish with a mango slice.
