Calling All BBQ Buffs

Nothing celebrates the arrival of summer like a neighborhood BBQ! These outdoor gatherings are relaxed ways to reconnect with neighbors, especially after hiding inside all winter. And if you’re a cook, you’ll get to show off your barbequing skills too. Or, if you want to keep things simple, order takeout from a local BBQ joint. Check out KORBEL’s tips below to learn how to throw a fun, outdoor BBQ!

Serve your food buffet style. When it’s time to eat, things can get messy. To keep everything organized, set up a long table with BBQ, BBQ sauce, condiments, and sides in specific sections so guests can easily and quickly fill their plates. Consider using mason jars or colorful bowls to display your food and include a few, simple flower arrangements to decorate the table.

Serve KORBEL minis. Instead of buying one or two full-size bottles of KORBEL, give guests options when it comes to their California Champagne. Since KORBEL makes minis for our Brut, Brut Rosé, and Sweet Cuvée varietals, guests will not only be able to sip from refreshing, individual-sized bottles, but they’ll also be able to select a varietal that best pleases their palate!

Light mosquito repelling candles. Nothing sours a party like uninvited mosquitos. To avoid this problem, head to your local hardware store and buy a few of these mosquito repelling candles. Not only will these lights keep the bugs away, but they usually come in fun colors that can add to your party decor. Plus, when the sun starts to go down, you’ll have plenty of light to keep the get-together going!
