Make New Year’s Eve Sparkle With KORBEL

Are you planning to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 with a party? Whether you ring in the New Year with an intimate gathering of five friends or with a fête of 50 people, here are some tips to help you celebrate in style.

No New Year’s Eve party would be complete without KORBEL California Champagne. Plan to serve both sweet and dry varietals in order to accommodate guests’ preferences. And, of course, make sure you have enough bubbly so that everyone can toast 2016 properly. Generally, a 750ml bottle of KORBEL contains five servings.

Make sure to chill your KORBEL for at least a few hours before the party. It is best served in a deep-fluted glass so that guests can enjoy the brilliant bubbles floating inside. If you don’t own enough champagne flutes to serve all of your guests, consider renting them from a party rental store.

Whether you are serving simple fare such as cold cuts or feasting on filet mignon, try to avoid overly salty or sweet foods that will make guests thirsty and prone to overconsumption. In addition to KORBEL and other alcoholic beverages, serve water and nonalcoholic drinks such as soda and juice. As much as you hope guests will celebrate responsibly, be prepared in case someone needs help getting home. Have contact information for a cab or ride-sharing service handy.

If you happen to have an open KORBEL bottle leftover after the party, don’t pour it out! You can store it in the refrigerator for at least one day. Why not keep the festivities going by using it to make mimosas for a New Year’s Day brunch?
