Sit Back. Relax. And Enjoy the Show.

For many cities, outdoor amphitheaters are the place to be during the summer. Particularly on the weekends, these spaces host musicians, singers, plays, and comedy groups and provide relaxed, outdoor areas for friends and families to enjoy. And many times, these performances are free or relatively inexpensive. So, grab a picnic blanket, call your friends, and head over to your nearest amphitheater for an evening of laughter and fun! And if the venue allows food and drinks, pack a bottle of KORBEL (no need to remember a corkscrew!) and try out one of our snack suggestions.

Berry Cantaloupe Salad

  •  1/2 cantaloupe, scooped with melon baller
  • 1 cup strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 teaspoons chopped mint leaves

In a large bowl, combine cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, lime juice and zest and mint; set aside in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Caramel Popcorn

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • pinch of salt
  • 12 cups popcorn
  • 1 cup pecans

Melt butter with honey and a pinch of salt. Then toss with popcorn and pecans. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees F, tossing. Cool.
