Storing Leftover Champagne

Thanksgiving is a day for gathering with loved ones to express gratitude for our blessings in life. Another important part of the holiday is sitting down to a delicious meal accompanied by KORBEL California Champagne. That inevitably leads to leftovers to be enjoyed another day.

If you have any leftover KORBEL, you can store the champagne in the refrigerator. The bubbles will last for at least one more day. Some champagne lovers swear that dropping the handle of a metal spoon in the neck of the bottle will preserve the champagne’s fizz. There’s some debate about the effectiveness of that method, but it won’t hurt to give it a try.

As for how to enjoy your leftover KORBEL, you could use it to make a mimosa as part of a post-holiday brunch.

Mimosa

  • 4 ounces KORBEL
  • 4 ounces orange juice

Top orange juice with KORBEL in a large champagne flute.
