Toast Earth Day With KORBEL

For 45 years, Americans have designated April 22nd as a day to celebrate our beautiful planet and call attention to the importance of environmental sustainability. This year, be sure to toast Earth Day with a glass of KORBEL Brut Made With Organic Grapes.

KORBEL was the first major U.S. producer to release a California Brut Champagne made with organically grown grapes, and the varietal reflects KORBEL’s long-standing commitment to sustainability. In 2007, the winery received an organic processor certificate from the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), and released KORBEL Brut Made with Organic Grapes in 2009.

All of the grapes used to create KORBEL Brut Made With Organic Grapes come from California vineyards that are farmed sustainably, without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. The vineyards’ farming practices are all in compliance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s organic certification program, and are monitored by the CCOF.

KORBEL Brut Made With Organic Grapes has well-integrated aromas and flavors of apple, pear and white peach. The finish is medium-dry, with a slight savory note at the end. Pair it with aged, salty or creamy cheeses, or try it with braised poultry, fish and root vegetables.
