Looking to spruce up your at-home bar or bar cart this holiday season? A mix of bar tools and glassware will keep your bar flowing smoothly and make it look amazing! We love adding gold accents to any bar; it provides that special touch for the holidays and beyond! An ice bucket or chiller is a MUST to keep your KORBEL California Champagne crisp and refreshing all night long, and a champagne sealer keeps those bubbles bubbling. A glass decanter for pouring juice (we love cranberry, apple, grapefruit and pomegranate) is a perfect addition. And if you like to take your cocktails to the next level, be sure to pick up a set of bar tools: a muddler, strainer and jigger.
To keep your fruit and herb garnishes fresh, store them until you’re ready to use – usually in the fridge, with a damp paper towel (depending on the garnish). Cutting garnishes properly will also help you get the most out of them and ensure less waste. A sharp knife and cutting board deliver the perfect cut. For lemons, limes or oranges, cut the ends off first, then cut the fruit in half and remove the pith (any membranes or seeds) and slice into wedges. When you’re ready to serve, you can place fruit into small bowls and place herbs with stems into glasses with an inch of cold water in the bottom – bar arrangement, check!
