Viva La Sangria! Toast to Hispanic Heritage Month with the sparkling “Sweet Heat”
The third and final recipe in our Sangria slushie series is the “Sweet Heat Sangria,” a spicy and fruity Mexico-inspired cocktail. Jalapeños and strawberries give this sparkling sangria the right amount of berry bite. ¡Chido!
KORBEL Sweet Heat
- 2 oz (1/4 cup) KORBEL Sweet Rosé
- 5 strawberries
- 3 jalapeño coins
- 1 1/2 oz strawberry puree
- 1 oz simple syrup
Muddle 3 jalapeño coins with 2 cut strawberries. Add champagne and stir. Strain the liquid, then add simple syrup, strawberry puree and 2-3 additional strawberries. Using a blender, combine all ingredients with ice. Serve & enjoy.
