A New Look
Korbel has a new look, but it’s still the same iconic California champagne. The recipe hasn’t changed since 1882, but everybody deserves a little makeover now and then.
Korbel Brut,
need we say more.
Wherever you are, there's a bottle of Korbel not far from it. Let's go find it.
How To Open Korbel Properly
-
Chill it right
45–50°F is the sweet spot; too cold (under 40°F) dulls flavor.
-
Strip the foil and untwist the cage
Turn it 6 times precisely. Thumb stays on the cork the whole time.
-
Angle it at 45°
Point away from people, pets, and anything breakable.
Brace the base against your hip -
Twist the bottle, not the cork
Ease it out slowly. You want a soft hiss, not a pop
-
Towel trick
Wrap the cork for grip and control; if it resists, pause, don’t force it
-
Pour and enjoy
Serve right away to keep the bubbles

When hanging out is the whole point, you never want to be the one who shows up empty-handed.
