The Accounting Department at Korbel Winery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Processor to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for performing a broad range of accounting support functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Hourly Payroll processing. The Senior Accounts Processor plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, supporting internal departments, and assisting with special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Accounts Payable invoices, including purchase order three-way match and non-purchase order invoices.
- Manage assigned vendor accounts, maintain positive vendor relationships, and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and completed payment packages for review.
- Review vendor statements, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Coordinate new vendor setups and maintain vendor records.
- Assist with monthly Accounts Payable close and ensure transactions are entered by established deadlines.
- Ensure proper application and payment of sales, use, and excise taxes.
- Process hourly payroll, including manual payroll checks, direct deposits, garnishments, tax levies, child support, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Serve as backup for Accounts Receivable functions, including customer billing, cash application, wire transfer postings, and miscellaneous deposits.
- Perform invoice matching, data entry, spreadsheet management, document imaging, and transaction verification.
- Research and resolve invoice pricing, quantity, and documentation discrepancies.
- Assist with special projects and perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or related accounting functions required.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing.
- Knowledge of sales, use, and excise tax applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and database applications.
- Interest in leveraging technology, automation tools, and AI solutions to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

As Korbel modernizes its operations, our Production Skilled Machine Operators will play a critical role in operating advanced labeling systems, automated packaging equipment, HMI interfaces, production data systems, and future SCADA technologies. Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate automated production and packaging equipment.
- Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, product changeovers, and operational adjustments.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate a Haas 3-axis CNC mill and Haas CNC lathe using G-code.

Position Summary
Reporting to senior leadership, the CTO will lead all aspects of IT, IS, and digital transformation. Infrastructure & IT Modernization (Priority Initiatives)

The Security Department at Korbel Winery is seeking a flexible and professional Security Officer to join our team. This full-time, hourly position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, guests, and company property. The Security Officer provides a visible security presence, delivers excellent customer service, and supports daily security operations across the winery. This position requires availability to work all shifts, including day, swing, and graveyard. The starting rate of pay for this position is $23.65/hr. Swing shift earns an additional $1/hr and graveyard shift earns an additional $1.25/hr.

- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

- Basic computer proficiency, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.
- Basic proficiency with surveillance systems, security software, and communication tools.
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card preferred. Must obtain a valid BSIS Guard Card within 90 days of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a company-insurable driving record.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to respond physically to emergencies or security situations.
