The Kobel Hospitality team is seeking a highly organized and service-driven Event Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of internal and external winery events. This role reports to the Director of Hospitality and collaborates across multiple departments to create memorable experiences for VIP guests, corporate partners, and visitors. The position requires a flexible schedule, working evenings and weekends as needed. Hospitality, customer service, and food service experience needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute winery events including VIP experiences, corporate partner visits, internal events, and consumer-facing programs
- Serve as a primary liaison for visiting partners and VIP guests, coordinating itineraries, accommodations, and on-site logistics
- Manage guesthouse check-ins and provide facility walkthroughs for arriving guests
- Coordinate décor, menus, staffing, and event logistics to ensure seamless execution
- Maintain weekly calendars for guesthouse stays, executive lunches, VIP tastings, and internal event spaces
- Schedule and coordinate on-call servers and serve as lead server for VIP dinners
- Collaborate across multiple departments including housekeeping, winemakers, chefs, and executives for VIP visits.
- Provide operational support across hospitality functions as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong hospitality and customer service background, with experience delivering high-level service to VIP or executive guests
- 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage, event planning or customer service field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, collaborative attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Ability to lead projects independently and work calmly under pressure
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Experience creating menus, event collateral, or promotional materials preferred
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record required
- California Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Korbel & Bros., Inc. has an open Information Services position for an IT Support Technician in their Guerneville office.
Currently seeking an IT Support Technician to perform initial and advanced analysis of hardware, software, and other technical issues. Supports, troubleshoots, administers, and maintains a wide range of technologies relating to desktops, laptops, servers, printers, mobile devices, various peripherals and other vendor specific hardware and software. Deploys various hardware and software applications leveraging enterprise deployment tools. Provides Tier 1, 2 & 3 end-user support by assisting users on hardware and software questions/issues, installing, maintaining, and upgrading equipment, running diagnostics to isolate problems, and recommending possible solutions. Requires frequent use of tact, discretion, and independent judgment; knowledge of corporate divisions, departments, and remote sites; and the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and regulations. Provides administrative support to IT Manager.
Snapshot of Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 end-user support and hardware/software technical support by expeditiously resolving help desk support tickets.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain various computer and network hardware: desktops, laptops, kiosks, printers, wireless access points, mobile devices, peripherals, etc.
- Maintain desktop and laptop images by updating and deploying appropriate operating systems and core business applications using native and third-party deployment tools.
- Perform operating system and application patch management/upgrades on computer systems, peripherals, mobile devices, and other various systems.
- Perform computer upgrades and replace failed systems by coordinating schedules, scope of objectives, and standards.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot networked security cameras systems and servers.
- Assist outside vendor personnel with problem identification and installation of hardware and peripheral components; coordinate hardware repairs with vendors as needed.
Experience/Qualifications
- AA degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience and knowledge in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows platforms and Office products.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; Windows OS kernel, driver & firmware compatibility, BSOD’s, system performance tuning, system dump troubleshooting, Windows registry editing and troubleshooting, Etc.

The Security Department at Korbel Winery is seeking a flexible and professional Security Officer to join our team. This full-time, hourly position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, guests, and company property. The Security Officer provides a visible security presence, delivers excellent customer service, and supports daily security operations across the winery. This position requires availability to work all shifts, including day, swing, and graveyard. The starting rate of pay for this position is $23.65/hr. Swing shift earns an additional $1/hr and graveyard shift earns an additional $1.25/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Protect employees, visitors, vendors, property, and company assets.
- Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and security checks of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and entry points.
- Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
- Control access to facilities, including ID verification and visitor/vendor check-in and log management.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, safety concerns, and medical or emergency situations; assist with evacuations as needed.
- Provide professional assistance, safety guidance, and excellent customer service to employees and guests.
- Complete accurate written reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.
- Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Participate in required training and department meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of security experience preferred.
- Clean DMV record and clean criminal background required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong professionalism, judgment, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency or high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.
- Basic proficiency with surveillance systems, security software, and communication tools.
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card preferred. Must obtain a valid BSIS Guard Card within 90 days of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a company-insurable driving record.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to respond physically to emergencies or security situations.
