Make Your Birthday Bash a Smash!

Instead of celebrating with the classic dinner and drinks, “Make It Gold” this year and throw the birthday party to remember.

The star of every party is the cake, and this year will be no exception. “Make It Gold” by reinventing the classic strawberry cake with KORBEL Brut for a delicious and equally beautiful strawberry champagne cake. Your guests are sure to love the sumptuous surprise in every bite.

Strawberry Champagne Cake


  • 2 packages white cake mix
  • KORBEL Brut Champagne
  • 1–16 oz can vanilla frosting
  • A few drops of red food coloring
  • Fresh strawberries


  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and lightly flour two 8x1-1/2-inch round cake pans.
  • Prepare each cake mix according to package directions, except replace the water with an equal amount of champagne. Pour batter into separate pans. Bake according to package directions. Let cool.
  • Tint frosting with food coloring to make a light pink.
  • Place one cake layer, bottom side up, on a serving plate. Spread about 1/2 cup of frosting. Place the other cake layer, rounded side up, on top. Frost top and side of the entire cake with frosting. Garnish with strawberries.
