Turning National Cocktail Day Gold!

It’s time to celebrate National Cocktail Day! This year, Make it Gold by creating a series of cocktails with KORBEL California Champagne to share with friends and family.

Create an array of cocktails for all to sample, or turn your celebration into a friendly competition by encouraging everyone to make their own cocktails and vote for their favorite based on taste, presentation and creativity. Document the scoring process on your Instagram Stories and have followers vote for the cocktail they think photographs the best. Every point counts!

When the winner is crowned, create a how-to Instagram Reel to show how your followers can recreate the crowd-favorite at home. Or take it one step further, create a video for each cocktail recipe and compile it into a virtual recipe book to share online!

Champagne Cherry Bomb

  • Ingredients
    • 1 cup of pineapple juice
    • ¼ cup of Maraschino cherry juice (from the jar)
    • 1 bottle of KORBEL Brut
    • Orange slices for garnish
  • Directions
    • Combine pineapple and maraschino cherry juice in a champagne flute
    • Top with KORBEL Brut and garnish with an orange slice

Vanilla-Peach Bellini

  • Ingredients
    • 12 ounces of fresh peaches
    • 2 teaspoons of honey
    • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
    • ¼ teaspoon orange zest
    • 1 bottle of KORBEL Prosecco, chilled
    • 6 sprigs of fresh mint
  • Directions
    • Combine peaches, honey, vanilla and orange zest in a blender and blend until smooth
    • Refrigerate peach puree for about 30 minutes or until cold
    • When ready to serve, pour approximately two tablespoons of puree into the bottom of a champagne flute, and top with KORBEL Prosecco, then garnish with a mint sprig and serve

Champagne Mules

  • Ingredients
    • 6 ounces of vodka
    • 6 ounces of fresh lime juice
    • 12 ounces of ginger beer
    • Chilled KORBEL California Champagne (for topping)
    • Lime wedges and mint sprigs for garnish
  • Directions
    • Pour one ounce of vodka and fresh lime juice into each glass
    • Pour in two ounces of ginger beer
    • Top with KORBEL California Champagne and garnish with a fresh lime wedge and mint sprig
